Grills Lakefront Restaurant and Tiki Bar

Having visited the Grills location in Cape Canaveral, I was excited to recently discover that they had opened a location in Orlando during the Spring.

The new location has great reviews on Google so we thought we would give it a try.

It's certainly got the Floridian laid-back vibe; with a huge outdoor deck nestled on the small Lake Fairview, north of the city, on North Orange Blossom Trail.

It's missing some of the beach vibe that you get when visiting the Cape Canaveral location, but having said that it's still has that "new car smell" so I'm sure it won't take long for it to gain it's own identity.

If you love eating outdoors you will love the HUGE outdoor deck, along with the large outdoor bar area. They regularly have live music too, so that adds to the ambience.

The food? I didn't really enjoy my meal, but to be fair, I tried something completely new, and it just wasn't my thing. (Seaweed Salad and Tuna), and maybe if I had gone for my usual favorites, then it wouldn't have been an issue.

Their menu has everything from Fish of the Day, to Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, and Pasta. And if you aren't a fish lover then they also have burgers and salads, and more, on offer.

If you are looking to hang outside on a large deck with friends and family on a Sunday afternoon, away from touristville, then this is the place for you.
