The Stubborn Mule
Situated on the corner of South Eola Drive and East Pine Street, The Stubborn Mule is surrounded by city apartment buildings, and sits on a street of cobbled bricks. It has that city neighborhood feel, whilst slightly set back from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The first time we visited this restaurant we sat inside because it was raining, and found it rather noisy, but if you are looking for something more quiet then you can sit outside enjoying a glass of wine, or your entree, and people-watch as those living nearby walk their dogs, or take an afternoon/evening stroll.
If you've found that the food was so good, that you ate way too much (which I do all the time :D), then Lake Eola Park is only one block away, so you can walk-off your meal.
On this visit, we went for the "Pineapple House" - Pineapple teriyaki glazed Chairman's Reserve pork porterhouse, with the parmesan fries. It was all delicious, and boy those parmesan fries were to die for. I should have just had a bowl of those.
